China Chemical Industrial Equipment Association (hereinafter refer to as CCIEA) founded in 1989 and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, is an independent social group with the status of a legal entity. It reports to The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. CCIEA is a nationwide cross-regional and cross-departmental industry organization formed by entities engaging in chemical engineering machinery and equipment manufacturing, and the related scientific research, design, inspection, teaching, etc. This association is an appraisal evaluation organization authorized by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter refer to as AQSIQ) to issue administrative permits for special equipment. With guidance to theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics as a guide, fully implementing the concept of scientific development, fulfilling in accordance with the criterion and development of market principles, duties of providing service, reflecting demands and standardizing behavior; implementing the Government's intention, reflecting the members' wishes and requirements; playing a role bridging and linking between enterprises and government; doing well in industry coordinating, servicing and guiding, maintaining common interest and legitimate interest of all members; carrying out exchange activities with foreign groups in the same industry, making positive contributions to the development and promotion of Chinese chemical equipment industry; strictly abiding by the national constitution, laws, regulations and policies, abiding by social morality.
Ⅰ Responsible for appraisal evaluation for Class A1, A2, A3, C & D pressure vessel designing and/or manufacturing permit;
Ⅱ Responsible for appraisal evaluation for Class A & B pressure piping components manufacturing permit.
Ⅲ Organizing and carrying out industry certification for head manufacturing entities.
Ⅳ Organizing and holding trainings for industry personnel, technique, management, regulations, etc. Organizing and running training and examination classes as well as regulations and standards propagating and implementing classes for Quality Assurance Engineers, Welding Responsibility Engineers, NDT Responsibility Engineers, Inspection Responsibility Engineers, Process Responsibility Engineers, Material Responsibility Engineers, Heat Treatment Responsibility Engineers, Technologists, Inspectors, etc.
Ⅴ Organizing and holding the industry's national annual conferences, exhibitions, trade fairs, technical seminars and related international professional conferences.
